2.2 Requirements

You need:

2.3 Compilation and installation

In order to compile and install TPtime on your system, type the following in the base directory of the TPtime distribution:

% ./configure
% make
% make install

Since TPtime uses autoconf and automake you should have no trouble compiling it.

Icons for your desktop are also provided in pixmaps sub-directory and will be installed in $(DESTDIR)$(datadir)/pixmaps/$(PACKAGE).

Icons in different sizes (48x48, 32x32 and 16x16) are also provided in source package, but are not installed automatically. You must do that manually if you need them. They are useful for menu integration as it is done in the RPM I provide for Mandrake.

To browse the manual directly with Manual button in Help menu, you must set the HELP_BROWSER or BROWSER environment variable to a valid HTML browser, for example Konqueror or Netscape.

Two rpm spec file are also available in the source package if you want to build a rpm package from sources. "tptime.spec" is the standard one, and "tptime-mdk.spec" is designed to build Tptime on a Mandrake distribution with menu integration.

Should you run into problems please report them to the the author Pierre-Michel THEVENY
